- Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread chopped pecans across the bottom of the dish, then sprinkle evenly with brown sugar.
- Warm caramel sauce slightly and drizzle over pecans and sugar.
- Optional: drizzle corn syrup or maple syrup for extra richness.
- Evenly sprinkle dry cake mix over the top. Do not stir.
- Pour melted butter slowly over the dry mix, covering as much as possible.
- Gently pour evaporated milk over the surface. Do not mix.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until golden and bubbling at the edges.
- Cool for 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
